About the Founder

Meet Michelle Bodean, an experienced and highly skilled lash artist with over 10 years of experience with a passion for beauty that has taken her around the world. Michelle started her career in Europe, where she honed her craft and developed her unique approach to lash extensions. After years of perfecting her technique, she moved to the US and obtained her license as an esthetician in 2019.

In 2022, Michelle realized her dream of opening her own beauty salon in Downers Grove, IL, offering a range of beauty services, including eyelash extensions, permanent makeup, eyebrow sculpting, eyebrow lamination, and lash lift. Michelle’s extensive experience and her commitment to staying at the forefront of the beauty industry have made her salon a go-to destination for clients looking for top-quality beauty services.

Michelle and team are amazing. I don’t trust many people with my lashes— but the first time I tried them, they did the best lashes I’ve ever had. And they really know their stuff. Owner is very nice and knowledgeable too!

Love coming here for my Lashes! I’ve been a loyal client since May 2023. I get my fills done for hybrid lashes every 3 weeks and the team is extremely accommodating if I need to move around my appointment times. Lili is absolutely wonderful. She is so gentle on the eyes, that you could fall asleep!! I’ve brought family here and would recommend them to anyone!

This is the best place to get your lashes done. The lash professionals are experts and they walked me through my options to obtain my desired look. Everyone is incredibly kind and welcoming and the aesthetic of the salon is beautiful! They have other services as well. I highly recommend coming to Michelle’s Lashes!

Michelle and her team provide exceptional service. They create a relaxing environment where women can come to unwind and relax, and leave feeling beautiful. I’m getting married in a week and had Michelle do my lash lift, and I was absolutely blown away by the results. She manages to make my natural lashes look like extensions!She is very gentle and helps you feel comfortable and relaxed during the entire process. I cannot recommend this place enough. It’s also extremely clean and not your usual hustle and bustle of a lash salon. It’s quiet, relaxing, and wonderful all around.A great experience to relax and destress before my wedding.100/10, would recommend!!!!

Michelle called me immediately to take care of the situation and was extremely professional. I had just spent $130 on my first Lash Lift and Tint and I walked out and my lashes did not look any different! I was so disappointed in them and myself for paying! If my lashes were to thin to do the service the tech should have told me this! Then that would have been on me if I decided to go forward, but because it was my first time I did not know what to expect! Michelle was AWESOME to deal with!

Lili Is the best with fill ins, I come in every three weeks since I got my full set to get fill ins done and they last way over the three week appointment even with my hair an face being naturally greasy. Lili also takes the steps you need to take when creating the perfect look she takes ur eye shape into thought as well as the look you want and she makes magic happen! Beyond blessed to have this experience absolutely worth every penny! Not to mention I came down with a nasty cold I thought that I was losing more lashes then normal so I asked Michelle if this was normal she kindly explain how it was normal to lose more lashes when sick. Even with me losing more lashes they still look beyond fabulous for it going on three week from tomorrow

I’m new to the area so I took a chance on Michelle’s Lashes and Brows. I’m so glad I did. I made my appointment with Lily. She is amazing. I’ve went to several different places in a few different states, to get my lashes done. No place has compared to this place or Lily. She is very knowledgeable and professional. In addition, she’s so gentle and kind. Before my first appointment, my lashes were very scarce, and somehow I had a big area where my lashes fell out. Lily gave me her advice as to what type of lashes I should get. They looked so natural and beautiful. She recommended an eyelash serum as well. I used it for two weeks and went back to get my eyelashes filled. When I went back for my appointment, my eyelashes had grown so much that she was able to apply more lashes, so they ended up looking even more amazing. In addition, she tinted my brows, and I can’t say enough great things about them!Overall, I would recommend this place of business for any service they offer!

Finding a great lash and brow place is like finding the holy grail for me... I have searched far and wide. It's a big deal to find someone you trust AND does the best work ever. Look no further, this little hidden gem is THE BEST.1st of all, the staff. The ladies are SO nice and super professional. Polite, gracious, and its super quiet and peaceful.The owner Michelle is always there working and making sure you like what you see.2nd- hygiene. This place is immaculate. It's so clean and they have you wash hands immediately, wash your brows, wash your lashes. I love that they educate you on proper lash and brow hygiene. Michelle's studio is is not one of those cookie cutter businesses that just rushes you through to get a tech who probably learned to do lashes that afternoon practice on you. These are PROFESSIONALS.3rd- the technique they use here is fabulous. It's European and the lash retention is the best I've seen. The brow shaping and tinting is true artistry. Measuring my brows to fit my face, sketching, waxing, coloring...they don't miss a beat.4th- You leave with candy and they rebook you immediately. These ladies are flexible with time and the appts aren't back to back. If it takes longer to do the job correctly, consider it done. Michelle takes pride in what she does here. This is her passion and it shows.Just saying... I travel 30 minutes so Michelle can do my lashes. I probably pass 50 places on the way,but I want the best. So I will faithfully go. Highly recommend.I'd give it 50 stars if I could.

The staff were all extremely nice, and very helpful when it came to figuring out what style of eyelash extensions would be best for my eyes, they turned out great! I absolutely loved them! Alexa did a very great job on my lashes. Not only is she amazing at what she does but she actually cares about the health your lashes. I always leave happy!It is been two months since I got lash lamination done today and they still look absolutely awesome.I highly recommend her she’s so nice and gives you exactly what you’re looking for:)

Michelle was amazing ! She is the owner, receptionist, eyelash tech, and much more due to her just starting her business! The Salon is very cute and provides many services. She made me super comfortable while doing my Russian Volume Lashes. She kept very good conversation as well as made me feel very confident and beautiful. The lashes came out so perfect and after a week and a half…they still look good! Thankyou Michelle!!

This place is incredible awesome!Michelle does an amazing job! Eyelash extensions done by her are unique!I also highly recommend Mariana as a make up artist!I’ve had the pleasure of having Mariana do my makeup on multiple occasions now, and each time is wonderful. She always listens to your wants/needs and makes you look and feel your best. During my make up, she patiently worked with me on finding the best color(s) to match a natural desired look!I would work with them again and would recommend them to anyone I know.

Michelle is an amazing lash artist. I have had lashes in for the last 2 years and I always have had issues. Michelle’s lashes were so natural looking gave you enough to emphasize your eyes and lasted a good 3 weeks. I highly recommend her services. She also gave me a little bit of tinting to my eyebrows which made a world of a difference in appearance. She loves what she does and she is an absolute perfectionist. I wish I lived in Illinois to continue her services. She is one of a kind in regards to her work. If you are looking for an amazing lash artist and your fortunate enough to live close to Downers grove look more. She’s what you have been looking for!

Great experience. Michelle is super knowledgeable, sweet and absolutely master of her craft. Stepping into her new studio you will find yourself instantly relaxed. The new space is beautiful and clean, the staff are all friendly and fun to talk with. I have had nothing but great experience with lash extension and lash lift by Michelle since 2014. Would definitely recommend it to everyone.

Just made my 3D eyelash full set extensions of “Fox style” and henna eyebrows with Michelle and I want to say it’s important to feel yourself comfortable during the procedure and girls always do so to me , it’s always fun to see them . The lashes look beautiful and very comfortable to wear them as well, since the job was done by the professional person - Michelle. AMAZING SERVICE!! Michelle and Emily are extremely talented and take their time to ensure you are 100% satisfied. Too many places only care about $$, but not them. They genuinely care about you and your lashes to ensure you walk out feeling amazing and beautiful!! Not to mention the high quality products they use. My lashes can last up to a month without ANY fills!!!

Appointments canceled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours' notice are subject to a charge equal to 50% of the scheduled service. No-shows are subject to a charge equal to the full cost of the service. Online bookings are subject to confirmation from the studio, as well as the receipt of a credit card (if not already on file), to guarantee your booking.
